 “A TRADITION OF TRUST”

SAN ANTONIO

While many other markets around the country are struggling, the San Antonio real estate market has maintained its value and remains very strong. Many people are relocating to San Antonio because the economy remains strong!  According to Forbes Magazine, San Antonio is the “hot spot” for jobs in 2008 if you are looking to start a career or continue the one that you have.   In 2007, 18 companies chose to re-locate to San Antonio, creating 4,500 new jobs! We have Microsoft Corporation moving into the area, building a $550 million data center in the next year, and currently San Antonio hosts a Toyota manufacturing plant and Washington Mutual headquarters, among others.  Retirees love the fact that the cost of living is so low and that there is no state tax.  Young families love San Antonio because of all the fun things to do – the Riverwalk, Six Flags, SeaWorld, the Alamo and Tejano culture. San Antonio also has a strong military presence with three major bases, and many of these men and women return to live here permanently because they had grown to love this beautiful city during their stay here.  The climate is also a big plus, averaging in the 60’s  in the winter and 90’s in the summer.

Just outside the San Antonio borders, you begin to enter the Texas Hill Country beginning with the town of
BOERNE  (pronounced “burn – e”).  There are now many other new subdivisions on the way to Boerne, including the exclusive Dominion, where stars such as George Strait and many of the famous Spurs live.
Beautiful homes abound in this area.  San Antonio is also close to Kerrville, New Braunsfels, Medina Lake – all within a 30 – 60 minute drive.
Purchasing San Antonio real estate is a good investment whether you are purchasing your first home, second home, or you are a seasoned investor.  You are invited to visit this site often to view San Antonio Homes for Sale, read home-buying advice, get information about local schools and the San Antonio Community.
